Our journey through West Sweden was brimming with coastal charm and Scandinavian highlights. We started in Varberg, soaking up an idyllic afternoon visiting the impressive Varberg Fortress and strolling along the lively beachfront, before unwinding in style at Varbergs Kusthotell.

The next morning, we drove north to Kungshamn for a few days of adventure, with Smögen as a vibrant centerpiece—its famous pier lined with colorful boathouses, seafood eateries, and lively summer crowds. The Nordic energy and sweeping sea views made every moment memorable.

On the return towards Copenhagen, we paused in Tylebäck for a perfect afternoon by the water. The tranquil setting by the beach offered pure relaxation before a restful night at Tylebäck Hotell & Konferens in Halmstad. The whole trip fused authentic Swedish hospitality, dramatic coastal landscapes, and a taste of the good life by the sea.
